Apartment 1 is fully self contained and air-conditioned the sea breeze and ceiling fans may be all you need. Arcadia's local shops including the General Store are just around te corner. The Arcadia Village hotel is a pleasant stroll along Marine Parade and the infamous cane toad races are still a Wednesday evening highlight! At the rear of the property there is covered carport parking and a tropical in ground pool with shady manicured garden areas and BBQ facilities.

The best thing about this place is you feel like you live there. All the basics are there plus books,dvds,games, beach chairs and gear even cling wrap in the drawer!! you cross the road and you're on a glorious magnetic island beach where you can snorkel and short walks to Nelly Bay and Alma Bay. Bus stop is practically outside...coffee shop a block away..snorkel hire a block away. Having said that there is road noise but it quietens at night. Maybe not best choice if you have small children.
