Welcome to Little Bush Hut. A place where you can come to escape. Have breakfast with the birds and sundown drinks with the wallabies. Little Bush Hut demonstrates that good things do indeed come in small packages - making a very small indentation on the three and a half acres of native bush it is located on. A seasonal creek cuts through the property providing running water during the wet season. Whilst it may be a hut by name, you will most certainly not be roughing it!

Little Bush Hut is finished to a very high standard. Kitted out with stylish furnishings, lovely linens and quirky homewares. A small kitchen is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, a full size oven and a single dish drawer dishwasher. Wake your ideas up in the morning with the help of the Nespresso coffee machine.

A large scale sliding door is a feature of the open plan interior slide it one way to completely cover the kitchen or the other to separate the bedroom from the living area. Open up your louvered doors to expand your living space to include your front and rear decks. Take a relaxing bath in the external bathtub housed on the back deck or spend some time under the rain shower in the spacious and sleek bathroom. Little Bush Hut is perfect for couples who appreciate seclusion and luxury.

Enjoy the sensation of bush isolation whilst still being close to everything you may require. Walking distance to restaurants and bars for the fitter, more energetic folk amongst us, or a short stroll of around 200 metres to the bus stop if you would prefer. There are his and hers bicycles at your disposal too! Cycle out to gather supplies and retreat back to Little Bush Hut to hide away and enjoy the unique features of your temporary home.

Laze on the cow hide or perhaps recline on a banana lounge its your choice! Its laid back-bush-luxe at its best.

A great retreat for some serious R&R

We just spent 5 nights here and it was really hard to leave. We love how the the hut is surrounded by nature and it feels you are far away from everything, however we were walking distance to cafes and restaurants in Nelly Bay. We love the fully equipped kitchen , beautiful large bathroom and an amazing outdoor bath for added luxury. If you are a couple needing some relaxation or to just recharge then we highly recommend Little Bush Hut.

The place was really comfortable. Plenty of necessaries to make the stay enjoyable. My husband and I very much enjoyed the seclusion and the privacy yet we were a stone's throw from convenience stores. The bath tub outside was perfect. We brought our own bubble bath and salt soak. Relaxing in the tub with a glass of wine on the first night was illuminated by candle light. Night 2 bubble bath plunger coffee and amazingly scented candles filled the beautiful tranquil evening ending off a relaxing valentine's Day. Would definitely redo.I was initially recommended this place by a work colleague that opts for this short getaway to relax and reflect and I definitely gained that.

We stayed five nights and almost had to drag ourselves away. Couldn’t think of a more ideal place to stay on MI. Just loved the wildlife, little wallabies, tame blue kookaburras, curlews & all sorts of birds and birdsong. Feels totally isolated and incredibly relaxing. You probably do need a car though if you want to go anywhere.
