WHEN I BOOK MY ACCOMMODATION DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT? 

To confirm your accommodation a 25% non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking.

WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY THE BALANCE OF MY ACCOMMODATION?

The balance of your accommodation is due 30 days prior to your arrival date.

CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CANCEL MY RESERVATION?

The initial 25% deposit once paid is not refundable at any time.

If you cancel within 14 days of arrival the total of the accommodation is not refundable.

WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK INTO MY ACCOMMODATION?

Check in time is from 2.00pm.

However in a small number of instances, particularly at the busiest times of the year like School Holidays, Christmas and Easter, it may be impossible for us to check in all guests at 2pm and we ask for your understanding and patience during these times while cleaners complete all properties. We will always do our best to limit any inconvenience to our guests.

WHAT IF I ARRIVE EARLIER, CAN I CHECK IN EARLY?

No. Even though we provide early check-ins in a limited number of cases, check-in before 2pm can never be guaranteed.

WHAT TIME IS CHECKOUT?

Check out is 10am.

Please check you departure date on your reservation email.

If you have not departed by 10am on the day of departure on your reservation, we reserve the right to pack and remove your belongings to allow the cleaning and preparation of your unit for the next guests. We take no responsibility for any loss or damage to your belongings once removed.

WHERE CAN I STORE MY LUGGAGE IF I ARRIVE ON MAGNETIC ISLAND BEFORE CHECK-IN TIME OR I AM NOT DEPARTING MAGNETIC ISLAND TILL LATER ON MY DAY OF DEPARTURE?

Unfortunately Best of Magnetic do not have any luggage storage space.

DO I NEED TO LET YOU KNOW WHEN I AM ARRIVING TO ORGANISE CHECK IN AND KEY PICKUP?

Yes. None of our accommodation has on-site reception. We must meet you to complete check-in forms and hand over keys. Please call us on 0488-111210 before departing Townsville.

HOW DO I GET TO MY ACCOMMODATION FROM THE MAGNETIC ISLAND FERRY TERMINAL?

Our office is conveniently located directly across the carpark at the front of the Nelly Bay ferry terminal on Magnetic Island. All guests travelling on the Sealink passenger ferry or Fantasea car ferry should attend the Best of Magnetic real estate office to complete their registration form. Our courtesy transfer to your property, upon arrival, operates during our normal business hours. If you are arriving after hours please contact our office to discuss our after hours key collection procedure.

HOW DO I GET TO THE FERRY TERMINAL WHEN I LEAVE?

Guests are responsible for their own transport on the day of departure.

CAN I HAVE GOODS, GROCERIES, WINE OR DOCUMENTS DELIVERED TO MY ACCOMMODATION OR BEST OF MAGNETIC PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL?

Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to store or keep any items for guests prior to oyur check-in time. We suggest buying your groceries locally once you arrive or, if you choose an internet grocery service, make sure you arrange delivery for the day following your arrival. If any delivery is attempted prior to checkin the items will be rejected and returned.

WHEN IS THE LOCAL SUPERMARKET OPEN?

The IGA at the Magnetic Island harbour is open 6.30am to 8.30pm 7 days a week.

CAN I RENT A CAR ON MAGNETIC ISLAND?

Yes. We have late model small & medium cars for rent from only $59 per day including GST and basic insurance.
